Officially Published by the University of Florida’s Journal of International Law!

Well, in the last several months I graduated law school, passed the bar exam the first try, and now the paper I had worked on for publishing is officially apart of legal academia! I never thought I would graduate law school with honors at 36, and land in my dream career.

This is the perfect cherry on top of the cake of my life right now. You can read it on the University of Florida’s Journal of International Law here: https://fjil.org/publications/current-issue/.

I have an official published cite as a scholar!

Thomas D. Aaron Wazlavek, The Pond Separates Cultures but Not Values: A Comparative Look at the French Codification of Right to Withdrawal of Labor and the American Concept of At-Will Employment, 33 Fla. J. Int’l L. 75 (2021), Available at SSRN: https://ssrn.com/abstract=3843388.

My six-year-old son, an avid reader, figured he would give the article a try. He’s learning the same values at the dinner table that I did about unionism. Kind of amazing that he gets to see his old man as a published scholar.

Thank you to all who helped me get to this point in life. I appreciate each and everyone of you. I would say it is hard work, but the truth is nobody is an island unto themselves.
